Daniel Raks Oy carries out a wide range of interior renovations and exterior refurbishments, from floor to ceiling, according to the client's wishes. On new builds we work with construction companies on the concrete frame stages, floors and concrete finishing.

Concrete construction
We carry out the concrete frame stages on new builds and renovations: industrial buildings, data centres, public projects and housing. You can order a single work stage or the whole package from us – formwork, reinforcement and concrete work.

A good pour starts with good formwork. We build the formwork according to the drawings, prop it to withstand the pouring pressure and strip it neatly after the pour.

Reinforcement
Reinforcement according to the drawings
Reinforcement determines how durable a structure is. We install rebar and reinforcement mesh precisely according to the plans – correct spacing, laps and concrete cover.
Our team includes reinforcement professionals. We carry out reinforcement for footings, slabs, retaining walls, joints and edge-thickened slabs, covering every work stage.

Diamond drilling and sawing
We make precise holes, openings and cuts in concrete, reinforced concrete, brick and stone – dust-free and without damaging the structure. We drill holes from 10 millimetres to over a metre in diameter and make even large openings by stitch drilling and with a diamond saw. We serve construction companies, HVAC and electrical contractors, industry, data centres, public projects, housing companies and households.

Dust-free, precise and fast
Diamond tools cut through concrete and rebar cleanly without impact or vibration. Adjacent structures stay intact and no dust is left on site. Diamond work is often penetrations, window and door openings and chases – all kinds of drilling and sawing are possible.

Flooring

Water drains to the floor drain from the whole area

Concrete finishing
Concrete finishing (etuputsi) is the post-treatment of the concrete frame that makes the surfaces ready for skim coating and painting. We carry out frame finishing of every scope – in other words, we prepare the substrate for the plasterers and painters.

Experienced finishing of concrete surfaces
We finish concrete surfaces efficiently and with solid experience. Patching and filling concrete surfaces as well as chipping, scraping and grinding of slab, floor and wall surfaces are all part of what we do.
When grinding we use on-tool dust extraction to keep the air quality better, or we work in sealed-off sections.

What does concrete finishing (etuputsi) mean?
Concrete finishing is the post-treatment of the concrete frame: removing burrs, chipping, grinding and patching holes and cavities. After that the surfaces are ready for skim coating and painting.
What size holes do you drill?
We drill holes from small 10 mm penetrations to over a metre in diameter. Larger openings are made by stitch drilling or with a diamond saw.
What size projects do you take on?
We take on small and large projects: from home renovations to apartment buildings, industrial buildings, data centres and public projects.
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes. We have our own team and our own machines and tools, such as diamond core drills, wall and floor saws and wet vacuums.
